Where stories begin: Ideas and characters

Many people ask me how I became an author. If you had told me years ago that I would be writing about both empathetic leadership and mystery fiction, I might not have believed you. My journey wasn’t a straight line; it was a path paved with paw prints, professional passion, and a deep desire to help others. 

My writing life began simply: with a blog. I wanted to capture the magic of traveling with my dogs. Those stories were lighthearted and personal, meant to document our adventures. But as I wrote, I realized how much I loved the process of taking a moment in time and turning it into a narrative that others could enjoy.

From blog to novel

While I was writing about my dogs, I was also building a career I felt deeply about. I’ve always been passionate about channel sales and empathetic leadership, so I began a second blog.

I realized that the lessons I had learned the hard way could help others. I wanted to share my experiences so that people stepping into new roles could gain insights faster and advance their careers with more confidence. Eventually, I realized these weren't just blog posts—they were a roadmap. That’s when I decided to compile my knowledge into my first professional books.

Once I experienced the joy of publishing, a new door opened: Fiction.

I started experimenting with different tones—from funny short stories about the quirks of modern dating to more serious, psychological mysteries. Though these stories are "made up," they are deeply rooted in real life. I believe that whether a story is about a dog or a detective, it should reflect today’s society, our challenges, and our expectations. We all want to read something we can relate to.

Connecting with readers

People often ask me how I can write such different things. To me, it’s all connected. Whether I’m writing a heartwarming dog story, a "how-to" on accelerating sales, or a gripping mystery, the goal is the same: to connect.

I truly enjoy the act of putting ideas on paper. My hope is that my readers find exactly what they need in my pages—whether that is a professional edge in the boardroom or a moment of escape in a funny or mysterious story.
