- What inspired me to become an author
I have always wanted to share my stories. My writing journey actually started with a blog, which eventually naturally evolved into publishing books. All of my books are very personal to me; some are based directly on my own life experiences, some are inspired by incredible real-life stories I’ve heard, and others are completely spun from my imagination.
- Am I a full-time author?
Not currently! I only started publishing very recently. My first few books came together quickly because I was able to adapt content I had already written for my blogs. However, my newer books take a bit longer to publish because I have a demanding full-time job. Right now, my day job supports my writing journey (and pays for treats for my two dog girls!), but I love the balance it brings to my life.
- What is the hardest part of being an author?
Definitely the marketing side of things—getting the books in front of the right audience and building a community of readers. Writing the book is only half the battle; the rest takes a significant amount of time and effort!

I write what I am passionate about, which means my books span a few different worlds!
- Dogs & Animal Welfare: These are true, heartfelt stories based on my time volunteering at animal shelters, navigating the grief of losing a pet, and the healing journey of adopting my two rescue dogs and our travel adventures together.
- Satire & Humor: I love to laugh, and I write satire simply because I want to spread joy and humor in a sometimes-heavy world.
- Thrillers & Suspense: I am a huge fan of true crime and psychological thrillers myself, so writing them is incredibly fun for me.
- Professional & Business: I have built a career in sales and leadership. I write professional books to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained, with the hope of helping others succeed in their own careers.

Because I work in sales and leadership, I have seen the inner workings of corporate culture firsthand. This background heavily influences my thrillers—especially books like The Veneer of Brilliance. It allows me to create realistic workplace dynamics, authentic office politics, and villains who use corporate gaslighting to get ahead.
- My dogs!
My two girls are named Angela and Paula! They both come from Corfu, Greece, where they were heartbreakingly abandoned on the streets. Fortunately, they were rescued by an amazing organization called Paws from Corfu. I volunteer there, which is how we met and completely fell in love. Ever since I adopted them, we spend every possible minute together going on adventures and enjoying life. They are my absolute world (and my best writing assistants!).
- How do I balance a full-time job, volunteering, two dogs, and writing?
It definitely takes a strict routine! My day usually starts very early with a writing session, followed by a long morning walk with Angela and Paula. After that, I dive into my day job, and we wrap up the workday with another long walk. I do the bulk of my actual writing in those early mornings, on weekends, or on my days off. On the days I’m not actively writing, I use that time to create social media content to share my books or our dog-friendly adventures. I also always make sure to carve out some quiet time to read and support other indie authors!

The best way to support any indie author is to leave an honest review on Amazon and Goodreads! Reviews help other readers find my books. You can also follow me on social media, share my books with a friend, or join my newsletter to stay updated on my latest releases.
